Smallest deer species that inhabits in rich woods of west and central Black Sea region of Türkiye with healthy population. Major hunting areas are Bolu, Karabük, Bartın and Kastamonu.The hunt will take place in forest areas with shooting distance between 100 and 250 meters, which is a common distance (sometimes even longer distance) for harvesting a Roe Deer. The best time for Roe Deer is in May and June depending of the region. Most of the hunting areas are located in the West of Turkey. Depending of the hunting area the altitude is around 800 meters.
